Privacy Policy

The short version: Fido Amigo runs on your phone, with no account, no tracking, and no ads. The only thing that ever leaves your device is what Apple and our purchase provider need if you buy Pro.

What we collect

For the free app, nothing about you. There's no account and no login. Your quiz answers, your matches, and your dogs' records stay on your device and are never sent to us.

Analytics and tracking

None in the app. We don't use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs, and we don't build a profile of you.

If you buy Pro

Pro is a one-time purchase, handled by Apple's in-app purchase system and RevenueCat, the service we use to manage purchases. To unlock Pro and let you restore it on your other devices, they process the purchase itself (the product and receipt) and an anonymous ID that RevenueCat assigns. It isn't tied to your name, and it's never used for advertising or tracking. Apple's and RevenueCat's own privacy policies cover how they handle it.

This website

This site doesn't collect anything about you. It loads a web font from Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address as part of serving that font.

Outbound and affiliate links

The app and this site link to other companies (adoption sites, insurers, food, gear, trainers). Some are affiliate links, so we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Once you tap through, that company's own privacy policy applies. Affiliate links never affect your breed matches, which come only from your answers.

Children

Fido Amigo isn't directed at children under 13 and doesn't knowingly collect data from them. The app keeps no personal profile; the only data involved is a Pro purchase, which Apple and RevenueCat hold under their own policies.

If this policy changes, we'll update the date above. Material changes will be noted on this page.
